We are the 900th Lions Club in Texas, chartered June 26, 1967.   Four of the 52 founding members remain active today.  We include both men and women in our Club.  We also sponsored the new Lions Club in Canyon Lake.

The Club has received the following recognitions:

  • Secretary Larry Kunkel received the Lions International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation on 4/19/08
  • The Club was declared the Lions Club of the Year at the District 2-S3 meeting on 4/28/07
  • Life member Bob Hasert received the Lions International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation on 4/28/07
  • The Club received the C.W.A. MacCormack Award at the Lions District 2-S3 convention on 6/22/06 for being the "Most Active Lions Club," based on its complete and timely membership and activity reports.

1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings..
